Michiko Suzuki Durinski



Michiko was born in Tokyo, Japan. After graduating from "Tama Art University" in Tokyo (majoring in Graphic Design), she studied at the "Art Center College of Design" in Pasadena, California.

 

Michiko has been working in the fields of Feature Films, Television Commercials, Specialty Films for Expos and Amusement Parks, development for Museum Contents, and others as a Producer and/or as a Visual Effects Producer which has brought her many awards. She has also consulted for major companies on corporate image projects, future visions, marketing concepts, and image production for sports events.

 

She has been invited as a special lecturer at Universities, Companies, and Academies. She has also been invited as a guest speaker at forums, to be a judge, and to write about Visual Effects in Hollywood.   In the U.S., she has given presentations at a UCLA special seminar and at the BDA (Broadcast Designers Association) Conference.

 

Beside the Hollywood Concept Design, she also works with Design Studio Press, Art Durinski (VFX supervisor),

Kyle Cooper (Director), Frank Serafine (Sound Director), Syd Mead(Futurist, Designer), Jun Miyake (Music Artist), and Sony Pictures Imageworks. Michiko is also a co-owner of the company TRI+ (Tri-plus) in Tokyo.
