Jared Sandrew

Jared Sandrew is a Creative Executive with hands on technical experience specializing in stereoscopic filmmaking, visual effects, and virtual reality. From 2009 to 2015, Jared was instrumental in developing the Legend3D pipeline and workflows, leveraging his comprehensive understanding of visual effects, and stereoscopic technologies. In addition to the technical, Jared served as Chief Creative Officer, driving the creative look of each film through Legend3D’s production process while working directly with studio filmmakers to achieve the highest quality experience possible.
Jared left Legend3D in 2015, and is currently serving as Stereoscopic Supervisor for The Walt Disney Studios.
Some of Jared's credits include Stereoscopic Supervisor on Robert Zemeckis’ “The Walk", Disney's "The Finest Hours", "Man of Steel", “The Amazing Spiderman 1&2”, “Hugo”, “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides”, "Green Hornet”, “Green Lantern”, “Shrek 1,2,&3”, “Smurfs 3D”, "Jupiter Ascending” as well as many commercials and several VR projects. Jared launched Legend3D's VR division before he left. He was responsible for bringing in and overseeing the post produciton for "The Recruit: RU in?" and "The Art of Patron".
Prior to his tenure at Legend, Jared was Senior Stereo Technical Director at Sony Pictures Imageworks where he worked on one of the first fully converted theatrical features "G-Force". Early in his career Sandrew gathered extensive experience as a freelance VFX generalist while working for at highend FX houses and commercial post production companies such as The Orphanage, Asylum Visual Effects, Motion Theory, and Psyop.
