ERIC ROBINSON

VISUAL EFFECT SUPERVISOR

Eric Robinson combines outstanding leadership skills with his creative and technical abilities. In his tenure at MR. X, he has proven to be an invaluable member of the team trough the successful supervision of numerous film and episodic projects, including Guillermo del Toro’s The Strain for FX and Paul W. S. Anderson’s Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.

Bringing a wealth of Stereoscopic experience from his five years at IMAX, Robinson guided the MR. X’s first foray into 3D filmmaking with Resident Evil: Afterlife, where he shaped the stereoscopic pipeline – and has since served as the Stereoscopic Supervisor for all of MR. X’s 3D features.

With his keen eye and attention to detail, Robinson went on to serve as the Digital Effects Supervisor on The Three Musketeers, the remake of the beloved horror-classic Carrie, and Resident Evil: Retribution, which earned him a Canadian Screen Award for Achievement in Visual Effects.

Robinson’s Supervision of Digital Effects in Paul W.S. Anderson’s period drama Pompeii – in which he handled some of the film’s most challenging sequences, including crowds, digital duplicates of characters, digital creatures, and environmental effects – garnered him his second Canadian Screen Award for Achievement in Visual Effects.

Most recently Robinson served as MR X’s in-house supervisor for the Ridley Scott-produced sci-fi drama, Raised by Wolves and the upcoming Netflix actioner, Kate.
