Eduardo AmodioI have been working in the Brazilian Film Industry for over 25 years. First as Digital Compositor and later as VFX Supervisor. I have worked with Visual Effects on dozens of productions, among which I can highlight “10 segundos para Vencer”, “O Vendedor de Sonhos”, “O Amor Dá Trabalho” and “Aquarius”.
I started back there in 1993 as a trainee in a small animation and post production boutique. The company has evolved to become a major production company of 2D, 3D and stop motion animation, and live-action as well, focused on the advertisement world. I spent 12 years in that very creative and innovative workspace learning the foundations of my career. Among many other initial roles, I mainly worked as a digital compositor and motion designer.
After 15 years working with advertising, I pivoted to the entertainment area and started working with series and films. Initially, I was the VFX supervisor in the first Stop Motion feature film produced in Brazil. Later I worked as a digital compositor and VFX Supervisor in two of the main vendors in the country, Quanta Post and O2 Post.
During all this time I had the opportunity to learn immensely from great talents. I am very interested in sharing my experiences too.
I believe information wants to be free.
Since February 2019 I play the role of VFX manager at Netflix — Brazil.
