Alexander Sokolov

Alexander Sokolov is a lead visualization artist based in Los Angeles, California. Born in the USSR, he was one of the first artists who developed previs/postvis workflows and shaped the visual effects industry in Russia. Alex worked on the pre-production of such blockbusters as Day Watch and Wanted.


In the US he is best known for his work on Terminator: Dark Fate, Jumanji: The Next Level, Jungle Cruise, and upcoming Rescue Rangers. He made previsualization for the Olympic Games in Vancouver (2010) and Sochi (2014). Also, he visualized the most epic sequences of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion directed by S.S. Rajamouli.


Alexander is a graduate of the New York Film Academy and loves to work in action/sci-fi genres.
