The VES Vision Committee presents “Inside VR Gaming”

There are more than 2 billion video game players worldwide. Virtual reality has a bright future within gaming, as 58% of the most frequent gamers intend to play games on VR! And VR gaming represents even more opportunities for VFX artists. These presentations will cover the in latest VR game development techniques—including challenges and solutions.
Principal Speakers:
Brooks Brown, Global Director of VR for Starbreeze Studios, will take us behind the scenes of their immersive game, John Wick Chronicles VR, a game built from the ground up for virtual reality.
Bob Rafei, Co-Founder and CEO, Big Red Button Entertainment, will share the inside story of his new first person shooter VR game, The Arcslinger, a cyber western where you play the unlikely hero.
Cory Strassburger, Emmy Award winning VFX artist, Director and Co-Founder of Kite and Lightning, will take us on a tour through the creation of his new VR game, Bebylon Battle Royale, described as a comedic party brawler, complete with babies fighting each other in souped up cars.
