Digital Colour Science & Workflows

11 March 2014 7:30 pmĀ Camperdown CinemaCome join us for an educational evening about the science & workflows of handling colour in a digitial environment with Glenn Anderson.

Accurately reproducing the work of artists on display devices is an important part of digital cinema workflow. The science behind it is well defined, but putting it into practice can present some interesting challenges.
Glenn's talk will cover the science behind colour and lightness, the characteristics and limitations of human vision, cameras, and display devices, and explore what is possible within those limits.

A long time Apple Macintosh programmer, Glenn has worked on review tools for Weta Digital since 2000. Before that he was better known for writing Eudora Internet Mail Server.

We hope you can join us for this exciting exclusive before Glenn departs our shores to pursue his career at Apple.
