Lee Lanier has worked as a generalist, lighter, compositor, and modeler at Buena Vista Visual Effects and PDI/DreamWorks. He has directed and animated a series of 3D short films that have played in more than 200 museums, galleries, and film festivals worldwide. Lee has taught animation at the Academy of Art University and Gnomon School of Visual Effects. He has written six software books including "Advanced Maya Texturing and Lighting" and "Digital Compositing with Nuke." Lee also serves as the executive director of the Dam Short Film Festival.
