Join USC Alumni “Entrepreneur of the Year” Shannon Gans, Executive Producer of New Deal Studios for a limited participation seminar for artists who are thinking of starting their own business.

Some topics to be covered:

·         Know where you are going - write the business plan

·         Setting your vision, core values and core ideals

·         Building the company culture

·         Creating an advisory team

·         Working with accountants and attorneys

·         Create your own economy - working with the internet

·         Build your brand - the importance of marketing and networking

·         When and how to hire employees

·         Difference between leadership and management

Otis College is one block north of the Los Angeles Airport at the intersection of Lincoln Blvd and La Tijera. At the intersection, Otis is a tall seven story white building on the Northwest corner. Parking is from La Tijera (just behind the building). Approach the gate. The gate automatically rises. Park in any "non-visitor" open space. Enter the white building and take the elevator to the third floor.
