"Due to a labor dispute between the hotel workers of LOCAL 11 and the Century Plaza Hotel, we have just changed the date and location of the 9th Annual VES Awards Show.
Accordingly, the new information for the 9th Annual VES Awards Show is as follows:
Date: Tuesday, February 1
Location: The Beverly Hilton Hotel
In addition to honoring the best visual effects work of the past year, we will also honor Ray Harryhausen with the VES Lifetime Achievement Award and Christopher Nolan with the inaugural VES Visionary Award."
