HBO Boardwalk Empire – Bus Shelter QR Code Unveils Secret Bars

"In the form of large whiskey bottle, the billboards are embedded with a special QR Code. When the code is read by a cellphone, direction as well as password will appear to gain entry to a secret “speakeasy” event, where the first drink will be on the house."
The use of the QRCode and mobile computing will continue to gain traction as small, inexpensive devices that can read them become more readily available.
